Subscription Overview

The Talisman Platform is an enterprise data integration platform built on Apache Camel Karavan, adding dedicated development accelerators, operational tooling, and commercial support for mission-critical integration workloads.

Licensing Principles

Talisman's commercial model is designed to be simple, predictable, and free of vendor lock-in:

  1. No Runtime Fees (Zero Core/Throughput Tax)
    Your integrations build into standard containerized microservices running on the upstream Apache Camel Runtime. Talisman never meters CPU cores, memory, message throughput, or API call volume at runtime. You run your workloads in your own infrastructure without runtime licensing penalties.

  2. Developer Seats
    A seat is assigned to an individual engineer actively developing or modifying integrations. Developers can use either Studio Web or Studio for VS Code (or mix both across the team). Viewers, reviewers, and operators require no seat and are completely unlimited.

  3. Talisman Servers (Environments)
    A Talisman Server acts as the control plane, artifact builder, and deployment orchestrator for a given environment (such as dev, test, or prod). You only license the environments you manage through the platform.

Every commercial engagement starts with a base package covering a standard integration team and delivery pipeline, with flexible options to scale as your footprint grows.

Scaling Up

  • Add Developer Seats: Add individual seats one at a time as new engineers join your team.
  • Add Servers: License additional server instances for staging, sandbox, DR, or isolated multi-region clusters.
